How to Become a Dealer

Details on becoming a registered customer with TCL.

Becoming a registered customer with TCL is easy; just follow the steps outlined below.

STEP 1

Submit an application letter addressed to:

Marketing Manager,
Trinidad Cement Limited,
Southern Main Road,
Claxton Bay.

Or

Complete a Customer Application for Wholesale Status form, available from any one of our Customer Service Representatives.

Please note:

Hardware dealers applying for wholesale status MUST stock a range of hardware items such as steel and steel related products, lumber, PVC fittings, blocks, etc.

Contractor Applicants MUST submit future projects and some details on past projects to justify application.

STEP 2

Submit copies of the following documents with your application letter:

Certificate of Incorporation

VAT Registration Certificate

STEP 3

For Hardware Applicants, Cement Storage facility must posses the following requirements:

  • Minimum area of 144 square feet
  • Minimum storage for 140 bags
  • Area must be properly protected from moisture.

STEP 4

Within one week of receipt of your application, a Customer Service Representative will arrange with you to have your Cement Storage facility visited.

STEP 5

One week after our site visit, you will receive both verbal and written correspondence on whether you have qualified for wholesale status. In instances where you have failed to meet TCL's minimum requirements for granting wholesale status, one of our Customer Service Representatives will revisit your premises and offer advice on meeting the requirements.
