Guidelines
For quality concrete, please follow these guidelines:
- Water must be of potable/drinkable quality and free from colour and smell.
- Aggregate must be clean washed and free from organics.
- Always be sure to use Premium Plus "fresh" cement free from clumps and lumps.

Guidelines
Note: The minimum recommended thickness for mortar application on floors and walls is 1/4 (6mm) 2 (50mm)
The recommended sand for mortar mix is mortar or concretizing sand. All other sands are deemed unsuitable for mortar mixes.
Mortar is best recommended for the following applications:
- Plastering over bricks.
- Adhering bricks or concrete blocks to one another to provide stability.
- To compensate for irregularity between units.
- To seal any gaps to resist wind or rain penetration.
- As a binder between bricks in walls, fences, and walkways.
- To make quick repairs in patio slabs and reset loosened stones or bricks in a walkway or retaining walls.
- To set small equipment firmly in the ground, minimizing the chances of the equipment shifting or toppling while in use.
